Hi all! I was asked a questions New Year's Eve that has prompted a post. My friend asked what books I wanted to read during the next year. I hadn't thought about that...know what I already read, but not what I want to read.
So, to get some help with this I thought I would post it to you. What books do you want to read during 2008? I look forward to hearing your thoughts as I know you are all avid readers.

Well... I just posted a list of the books I read last year. I have some suggestions for you in there if you want to take a look.
As for what I plan to read in '08.... Erin just recommended A Thousand Splendid Suns. I've heard a lot of good talk about that. I also plan on reading Blood Diamonds by Greg Campbell.
I know I plan to re-read The Heart of Anger, Shepherding a Child's Heart, and Don't Make Me Count to Three. I really need to apply more of the principles in those books to help make life more sane! :)
Other than those and kiddy books... hmm... it's sooo hard to find time to read...
I echo that Liz. Those three are on my immediate list.
I do like to read so I try to give myself 15 min before bed to read every night. Some days that is all I get, but sometimes I can read a little longer.

I'm reading The Devil in the White City right now and I can't put it down. It's the true historical story of the Chicago World Fair in 1893. Fascinating. Highly recommend it.
