Black Eye

Well the first black eye award goes to Chloe. She bonked her eye good on the sink in the bathroom. I have throughly enjoyed watching the progression of colors that appear on her eye. I think I am starting to bother her when I ask her to show me her eye all the time, lol! I am fasinated having never had one myself. Now it looks like she has gotten into about four colors of eyeshadow.
This is the most recent picture. She did it on Sat. and by now it is really pretty!!

Stuff, Stuff, Stuff

Some days I just feel like we have our very own Stuffmart right in my living room (and kitchen, and den, and bedrooms...). Lately I have been struggling with what I am sure boils right down to laziness. What do I do with all this stuff!!!!!!

Sometimes I think that I could just put it all out to be taken by the trash men, but then I would probably throw away something important or heaven forbid I add to the contamination of the earth. So, I keep tripping on it, cursing it (and repenting) and wearing myself out trying to keep it picked up.

So, I am seeking help. Anyone with any ideas about ways to establish routines, or keep toys from multiplying in the closet please write me. And if anyone knows how to get the shower slime off the shower door I would be eternally grateful.

Lifetime Friends

Some friends you just know will last a lifetime. In this case so far it started at the beginning of Chloe's life and has continued for about 4 1/2 years.

Thank you Reaghan for coming out for Chloe's recital. You and Jessica and the boy she married were all Chloe's world revolved around for a week!

Dave, you rate high in my book for bringing your wife and sister-in-law all the way out here, sitting through a ballet recital for this little four year old, and playing soccer with the boys. Even after they called you Chris all weekend, lol!
Jessica you have made such an impact on Chloe's life. I couldn't have asked for a more godly friend for my daughter. Thank you. I am counting on you as she gets older to give her input too. Love you friend.

So remembering to enjoy my kiddos is sometimes hard. I get caughtup in the arguing...they don't do that do they...yes. But for the most part they really enjoy each other and our times out together. I am going to remember that and these days at the zoo and other places all summer.

This is Jessica and her "buddy" as she calls Silas. Our "Baby" as she is known loves the outside and especially to play with Buddy outside!
